Horseshoe Walk

A walk around horseshoe woods in Steyning in West Sussex.
Showing Mouse lane and the flint and chalk downlands.
Hand printed from my own drawing straight on to lino. Plenty of knobbly roots and cascades of chalk flint.

The walk, the upper horseshoe, climbs high into the South Downs and at the tope the trail goes off to Chanctonbury Ring, a prehistoric hill fort.

From some rough sketches I drew the image onto the lino.
