Mimi Butler – I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Brighton.
My fields of interests are ancient landscapes, mythical beasts, folk & country lore. I’m currently looking at the relationships of the land with historic uses through stories..
Bio
After going to art college, I worked in Theatre, before moving into designing in London and Edinburgh, I then studied at Dundee University DJCAD in Scotland.
My background is in animation, digital arts, research and broadcasting with the BBC, MTV, and others, In the past few years I have been working with creatives in the volunteer sector and curating exhibitions.
Courses and places I have trained and developed my skills: Kulturwerk BBK, Berlin, Ink Spot/BIP, Print club London, East Side Prints.
