Ancient landscape series no. 2 Like before with the field systems, I am exploring the many uses of ancient sights, land occupation and ownership.
Cissbury Ring – north of Worthing in West Sussex, is known for its Neolithic flint mine and Iron Age hill fort. The site has an amazing vantage point, making the paths feel really ancient. I have used the fabric as a mantle over the landscape, showing the contours and flint holes, with a deer skull to represent feasting.
